Errors and Omissions Insurance (E & O) in Honolulu Real Estate

One of the common myths is that the E & O protects the Honolulu Real Estate buyer or seller, but it protects them indirectly, since it insures the real estate broker, agent/company against losses it may have resulting from an agent's failure or fault.

While you certainly can choose to work with a broker that does not maintain E & O, be crystal clear that you are only relying on that broker's ability alone to cover any potential loss resulting from their error. To protect yourself, we recommend working with professionals that offer additional protection in the form of additional professional insurance (E & 0 and malpractice).
